Our Workforce Development Strategy
Our vision is for staff to be experts in their field, to ensure their voices are heard and that they are a valued part of the organization. To deliver this we require a confident, capable and well-trained workforce who are at the forefront of empowering our service users to have independence and choice. A good strong, well-developed workforce that is fully equipped and motivated will make a significant contribution to delivering a high quality service. At Active Pathways we create a culture of continuous improvement and our staff receive training at all stages of their career pathway. This includes individual induction, corporate induction, mandatory training, coaching and mentoring, specialist training and continuous professional development. Active Pathways believe in developing staff from within and nurturing and facilitating people’s leadership aspirations.
Star Performance Award
We are please to announce that Active Pathways in Preston are the latest recipients of a Star Performance Award!, for Brookhaven and The Hamptons. We also announced a brand new award for two individual members of staff who demonstrated nursing care excellence. The awards were presented by Person First Solutions Clinical Director, Patrick Doyle, at a special event in November 2017, attended by service users and staff from Active Pathways.
