Role and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of people with complex mental health needs.


  • To provide support to Service User’s / Resident’s with daily living, following support plans and working within a person-centred Recovery Model.  
  • To promote Service User’s / Resident’s physical wellbeing through regular health checks, promoting healthy life choices and promoting social inclusion.
  • Communicating and building relationships with Service User’s / Resident’s, their family, support network and involved professionals.  
  • To demonstrate a willingness of to be respectful, and accepting of the people that require support, ensuring that the Service User’s / Resident’s  needs are met, and that the dignity of Service Users / Residents  is maintained at all times.  
  • To contribute to the running of the hospital by general housekeeping, administrative duties and accurate record keeping.  
  • To support the Senior Support Workers and to actively participate in team working and provide accurate and timely written or verbal reports/ individual clinical notes. 
  • To be committed to achieve high standards of safeguarding.

Recovery Support Worker Experience and Qualifications:

  •  1 year previous experience in a similar role – Desirable
  • NVQ or Care Certificate in Health & Social Care – Desirable
