Syd Coombes leads Active Pathways, working with teams across our residential and community services to help people move forward in their recovery. He has spent more than 20 years in health and social care and is hands-on with the details that matter: safe, well-run services, good communication with families and commissioners, and support that fits each person’s goals.
Syd believes progress comes from doing the basics well – clear plans, consistent follow-through and staff who feel supported to do their best work. He champions co-production and practical training, and he is proud when outcomes are simple and real – fewer incidents, more confidence, and real steps toward greater independence.
