Brookhaven achieves Outstanding CQC rating

Active Pathways is celebrating once again today as Brookhaven has been awarded an Outstanding CQC rating. This phenomenal achievement reflects the commitment and hard work of the staff who always ensure the best possible care for service users.

Brookhaven’s CQC report identifies that:

  • The CQC singled out the “responsive” staff who were “well-led” by senior staff at the 22 bed care home.

Katie Pilkington, Registered Manager at Brookhaven, Bamber Bridge believes the rating has been achieved through a determination to support patients and staff engagement in the service, which she believes is imperative for delivering the highest standard of care. She remarked, “We are pleased the inspection team were able to speak directly with our patients, relatives and staff who gave universally positive feedback. We are all thrilled with the outcome of our hard work and dedication.”

Syd Coombes, Director, Brookhaven, part of Active Pathways, (which also provides independent rehabilitation services for males) said, “Another Outstanding rating; an amazing achievement demonstrating the level at which Active Pathways operates. The team have worked tirelessly to ensure the values of the organisation are felt through every aspect of delivery, holding service users at the core of everything we do. What has been created is a group of individuals working toward the same goals, whether they are service users or team members.
