We believe that good people make a great business and are proud to have achieved the Investors in People Gold Standard at all of our services. The Investors in People Accreditation shows that as an organization, we are truly committed to realizing the potential of our people through training and continuous professional development, career pathways and reward for excellence.
The Hamptons and Brookhaven, Preston, have been accredited for a second time whilst our services in Leeds, Millcroft and Park Place undertook an assessment in early 2021, achieving the Gold standard for the first time.
Our Workforce Development Strategy
Our vision is for all of our team to be experts in their field, to ensure their voices are heard and that they are a valued part of the organization. To deliver this we require a confident, capable and well-trained workforce who are at the forefront of empowering our service users to have independence and choice. A good strong, well-developed workforce that is fully equipped and motivated will make a significant contribution to delivering a high quality service. At Active Pathways we create a culture of continuous improvement and our staff receive training at all stages of their career pathway. This includes individual induction, corporate induction, mandatory training, coaching and mentoring, specialist training and continuous professional development. Active Pathways believe in developing staff from within and nurturing and facilitating people’s leadership aspirations.
Star Performance Award
Our Brookhaven and The Hamptons services in Preston have been recipients of Person First Solutions’ Star Performance Award!. We also announced a brand new award for two individual members of staff who demonstrated nursing care excellence. The awards were presented by Person First Solutions Clinical Director, Patrick Doyle, at a special event, attended by service users and staff from Active Pathways.
