Senior Recovery Support Worker (Nights)
Location: Heathy House, Halifax, West Yorkshire
Hours: Full-Time, 42 Hours per Week (8 pm to 8 am)
Salary: £13.20 per hour (+ £16.50 per hour overtime) with paid breaks
Active Pathways Ltd is excited to offer an opportunity for compassionate Senior Recovery Support Workers to join our new 10-bed rehabilitation service, Heathy House, in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This residential service provides a step-down facility, supporting individuals in their journey towards independence and recovery.
About the Role:
As a Senior Recovery Support Worker, you will be instrumental in helping residents achieve personal goals and live as independently as possible. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to Recovery Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Shift Pattern:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Recovery Support Workers, ensuring effective care delivery.
- Provide personal care and promote recovery-focused practices to help residents achieve independence.
- Act as a role model, taking responsibility for the unit in the absence of management.
- Mentor and train new staff, supporting their development through supervision.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure service users’ well-being.
- Facilitate activities that support recovery and promote social inclusion.
- Handle medication and maintain accurate care records in line with policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with mental health needs.
- Strong understanding of care plans and risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A commitment to promoting recovery and social inclusion.
