Active Pathways is celebrating today as The Hamptons Rehabilitation Hospital achieves outstanding CQC rating. This phenomenal achievement reflects the commitment and hard work of the staff who always ensure the best possible care for service users.
An article published by the BBC identifies:
- The Hamptons Bamber Bridge is now just one of six independent hospitals rated as “outstanding” in England that provides rehabilitation mental health services.
- The Outstanding rating follows a visit by three inspectors in November 2017 who witnessed staff “going the extra mile” for their patients, men aged 18-65.
- The CQC singled out the “caring” staff who were “well-led” by senior staff at the 14-bed hospital.
- Brian Cranna, Head of Mental Health Inspection in the North West, said: “We saw lots of outstanding care being delivered, and managers who were passionate about both patient care and staff welfare.”

She remarked, “We are pleased the inspection team were able to speak directly with our patients, relatives and staff who gave universally positive feedback. We are all thrilled with the outcome of our hard work and dedication.”
